Description

E4806 | CD97 (Human) ELISA Kit DataSheet

CD97 is a member of the adhesion G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) family. Adhesion GPCRs are characterized by an extended extracellular region often possessing N-terminal protein modules that are linked to a TM7 region via a domain known as the GPCR-Autoproteolysis INducing (GAIN) domain. CD97 is widely expressed on, among others, hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells, immune cells, epithelial cells, muscle cells as well as their malignant counterparts. CD97 receptor is potentially involved in both adhesion and signaling processes early after leukocyte activation. Plays an essential role in leukocyte migration. ’s CD97 (Human) ELISA Kit is based on the Sandwich-ELISA principle for the quantitative measurement of human CD97 in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. Capture antibody was pre-coated onto 96-well plates. And the biotin conjugated antibody was used as detection antibodies. The standards, test samples and biotin conjugated detection antibody were added to the wells subsequently, and washed with wash buffer. HRP-Streptavidin was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with wash buffer. TMB substrates were used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding the acidic stop solution. The density of color is proportional to the amount of CD97 captured from the samples.
