Background: PARP (EC=2.4.2.30) is a protein involved in the base excision repair pathway (BER) and is catalyzing the poly (ADP-ribosyl) ation of a limited number of acceptor proteins involved in chromatin architecture and in DNA metabolism. PARP is a marker of a single-strand breaks (SSBs), Rybaczek and Kowalewicz-Kulbat (2013) .Alternative names: ADPRT 2, NAD (+) ADP-ribosyltransferase 2, Poly[ADP-ribose] synthetase 2.

Reconstitution: For reconstitution add 50 µl of sterile water

Storage: Store lyophilized/reconstituted at -20°C; once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please remember to spin the tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from material adhering to the cap or sides of the tube.
