Description
SirtAct is a potent Sirtuin 1 (SIRT1) activator. It increases fluorescence by 233% in a SIRT1 activity assay. SIRT1 stimulation by SirtAct leads to decreased tissue factor mediated thrombogenicity in mice. It inhibits NF-κB activation and reduces inflammatory cytokine production in lamina propria mononuclear cells from IBD patients. SirtAct also prevents and cures experimental colitis in a mouse model.
