Description
Tectorigenin (TEC) is an isoflavone isolated from various medicinal plants. It has been reported to display a variety of biological activities including antitumor and antibacterial effects, free radical neutralization, and selective estrogen receptor modulation. TEC plays a chondroprotective role in the OA (Osteoarthritis) process by preventing articular cartilage degeneration and chondrocyte apoptosis via the NF-κB P65 pathway.
