Description
A DNA methylating agent. A second-generation imidazotetrazine prodrug that undergoes spontaneous conversion under physiological conditions to the active alkylating agent MTIC (3-methyl-(triazen-1-yl)imidazole-4-carboxamide). Displays antitumor activity against a board spectrum of tumors, including leukemias, lymphomas and solid tumors.
