Description
Y15 is a selective focal adhesion kinase (FAK) inhibitor preventing FAK autophosphorylation at IC₅₀ of 1 μM. It does not have any significant activity against a range of other kinases like EGFR, PDGFR, and IG-RI. Y15 has shown to promote cell detachment inhibiting cell adhesion in in vitro experiments, shows antiproliferative activity in variety of tumor cell lines. In vivo it has shown to inhibit the proliferation in breast cancer cells.
