Description

Recombinant monoclonal antibody to TNF-?. Manufactured using recombinant technology with variable regions (i.e. specificity) from the hybridoma CDP 571 (Humicade). The antibody binds specifically to TNF-?, a pro-inflammatory cytokine that stimulates the release of other cytokines e.g. IL-1, IL-6, and GM-CSF as well as secretion of ICAM-1 and VCAM-1 from endothelial cells.
