Description

AP-2γ (A436) polyclonal Antibody | BS2667 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution

Host: Rabbit

Reactivity: Human,Mouse,Rat

Application: IHC

Application Range: IHC: 1:50~1:200

Background: AP2 gamma is a sequence-specific DNA-binding protein that interacts with inducible viral and cellular enhancer elements to regulate transcription of selected genes. AP-2 factors bind to the consensus sequence 5'-GCCNNNGGC-3' and activate genes involved in a large spectrum of important biological functions including proper eye, face, body wall, limbs and neural tube development. They also suppress a number of genes including MCAM/MUC18, C/EBP alpha and MYC.

Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Specificity: AP-2γ (A436) polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of AP-2γ protein.

Molecular Weight: ~ 45 kDa

Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.

Alternative Names: Transcription factor AP-2 gamma; AP2-gamma; Activating enhancer-binding protein 2 gamma; Transcription factor ERF-1; TFAP2C; AP2-γ; AP 2γ; AP2γ; AP-2gamma

Immunogen: Synthetic peptide, corresponding to amino acids 400-448 of Human AP-2γ.

Conjugate: Unconjugated

Modification: Unmodification

Purification & Purity: The Antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE) .
