Description
APC1 (phospho-S688) polyclonal Antibody | BS4375 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Host: Rabbit
Reactivity: Human
Application: WB
Application Range: WB: 1:500~1:1000
Background: APC1 is 1 of at least 11 subunits of the anaphase promoting complex (APC), which functions at the metaphase to anaphase transition of the cell cycle and is regulated by spindle checkpoint proteins. The APC is an E3 ubiquitin ligase that targets cell cycle regulatory proteins for degradation by the proteasome, thereby allowing progression through the cell cycle.
Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: p-APC1 (S688) pAb detects endogenous levels of APC1 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser688.
Molecular Weight: ~ 216 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Alternative Names: Anaphase-promoting complex subunit 1; APC1; Cyclosome subunit 1; Mitotic checkpoint regulator; Testis-specific gene 24 protein; ANAPC1; TSG24
Immunogen: Synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human APC1 around the phosphorylation site of Serine 688
Conjugate: Unconjugated
Modification: Phosphorylation
Purification & Purity: The Antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE) .
Pathway: Contribution of ECM and Cytoskeletal Factors to EMT,
