Description

AURKA (phospho-T288) polyclonal Antibody | BS4260 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution

Host: Rabbit

Reactivity: Human,Mouse,Rat

Application: IHC

Application Range: IHC: 1:50~1:200

Background: Aurora A plays a role in cell cycle regulation during anaphase and/or telophase, in relation to the function of the centrosome/spindle pole region during chromosome segregation. Aurora A plays a key role during tumor development and progression and is overexpressed in many human cancers including breast, ovarian and colorectal. Aurora A is viewed as a potential target for anticancer drug treatment.

Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Specificity: p-AURKA (T288) polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of AURKA only when phosphorylated at Thr288.

Molecular Weight: ~ 46 kDa

Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.

Alternative Names: Aurora kinase A; Aurora 2; Aurora/IPL1-related kinase 1; ARK-1; Aurora-related kinase 1; hARK1; Breast tumor-amplified kinase; Serine/threonine-protein kinase 15; Serine/threonine-protein kinase 6; Serine/threonine-protein kinase aurora-A; AURKA; AIK; AIRK1; ARK1; AURA; AYK1; BTAK; IAK1; STK15; STK6

Immunogen: Synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human AURKA around the phosphorylation site of Threonine 288.

Conjugate: Unconjugated

Modification: Phosphorylation

Purification & Purity: The Antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE) .
