Description
BAEE (N-α-Benzoyl-L-arginine ethyl ester) is a nonpeptide substrate of proteases and deiminases. It has been used as a substrate for the determination of trypsin activity. Additionally, BAEE has also been used as a substrate for determining the activity of subtilisins, kallikreins, and protein arginine deiminase 4 (PAD4).
