Description
BHMT monoclonal Antibody | MB62614 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Host: Mouse
Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat
Application: IHC, WB
Application Range: WB 1:1000, IHC 1:50
Background: This gene encodes a cytosolic enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of betaine and homocysteine to dimethylglycine and methionine, respectively. Defects in this gene could lead to hyperhomocyst (e) inemia, but such a defect has not yet been observed.

Specificity: betaine--homocysteine S-methyltransferase
Molecular Weight: 44.8 kDa (Predicted)
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Alternative Names: BHMT1; HEL-S-61p
Immunogen: Full length human recombinant protein of human BHMT (NP_001704) produced in HEK293T cell.
Conjugate: Unconjugated
Modification: Unmodification
Purification & Purity: Purified from mouse ascites fluids or tissue culture supernatant by affinity chromatography (protein A/G)
