Background: Sabia Virus causes rare viral diseases that do not differ in age, sex or race.It is one of five arenaviruses known to cause haemorrhagic fevers in South America.Sabia Virus is a single RNA Virus with negative strand, which is spherical and surrounded by a lipid shell.Members of the Sabia Virus family are associated with rodent-borne human diseases that are endemic and can cause severe or even fatal disease.
