Background: CERK1 (Chitin elicitor receptor kinase 1) is a Lysin motif (LysM) receptor kinase that functions as a cell surface receptor in chitin elicitor (chitooligosaccharides) signaling leading to innate immunity toward both biotic and abiotic stresses (e.g. tolerance to salinity, heavy-metal stresses, and Botrytis cinerea infection) . Recognizes microbe-derived N-acetylglucosamine (NAG) -containing ligands. Involved in the resistance to pathogenic fungi.
Reconstitution: For reconstitution add 50 µl of sterile water
Storage: Store lyophilized/reconstituted at -20°C; once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please remember to spin the tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from material adhering to the cap or sides of the tube.
