Description

CTDSPL polyclonal Antibody | BS90339 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution

Host: Rabbit

Reactivity: Human,Mouse,Rat

Application: WB FC

Application Range: WB:1:500 FC:1:50-1:100

Background: Recruited by REST to neuronal genes that contain RE-1 elements, leading to neuronal gene silencing in non-neuronal cells (By similarity) . Preferentially catalyzes the dephosphorylation of 'Ser-5' within the tandem 7 residue repeats in the C-terminal domain (CTD) of the largest RNA polymerase II subunit POLR2A. Negatively regulates RNA polymerase II transcription, possibly by controlling the transition from initiation/capping to processive transcript elongation.

Storage & Stability: Store at +4°C after thawing. Aliquot store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze / thaw cycles.

Specificity: CTDSPL polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of CTDSPL protein.

Molecular Weight: 31kDa

Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
