Description

Cyclin D1 (Phospho-T288) polyclonal Antibody | BS64572 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution

Host: Rabbit

Reactivity: Human,Mouse,Rat

Application: WB

Application Range: WB: 1:500~1:1000 IHC: 1:50~1:200

Background: Considerable effort directed towards the identification of G1 cyclins has led to the isolation of cyclin D, cyclin C and cyclin E. Of these, cyclin D corresponds to a putative human oncogene, designated PRAD1, which maps at the site of the Bcl1 rearrangement in certain lymphomas and leukemias. Two additional human type D cyclins, as well as their mouse homologs, have been identified. Evidence has established that members of the cyclin D family function to regulate phosphorylation of the retinoblastoma gene product, thereby activating E2F transcription factors.

Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Specificity: Cyclin D1 (Phospho-T288)  polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of Cyclin D1 protein only when phosphorylated at Thr288.

Molecular Weight: ~ 33 kDa

Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.

Alternative Names: G1/S-specific cyclin-D1; B-cell lymphoma 1 protein; BCL-1; BCL-1 oncogene; PRAD1 oncogene; CCND1; BCL1; PRAD1

Immunogen: Synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Cyclin D1 around the phosphorylation site of Threonine 288.

Conjugate: Unconjugated

Modification: Phosphorylation

Purification & Purity: The Antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE) .
