Description
Anti-tumor antibiotic. Inhibitor of Reverse transcriptase and RNA Polymerase. Immunosuppressive agent. Highly effective myotoxin that inhibits topoisomerase II. Binds to Nucleic acids, presumably by specific intercalation into the DNA double helix, thereby inhibiting necleic acid synthesis. Induces apoptosis.
