Description
EIF4A2 Antibody (C-term) [APR32668G] | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H
Specificity: This EIF4A2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 333-360 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human EIF4A2.
Cellular Localisation: N/A
Molecular Weight: 46402
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: EIF4A2
Gene ID: 1974
Function: ATP-dependent RNA helicase which is a subunit of the eIF4F complex involved in cap recognition and is required for mRNA binding to ribosome. In the current model of translation initiation, eIF4A unwinds RNA secondary structures in the 5'-UTR of mRNAs which is necessary to allow efficient binding of the small ribosomal subunit, and subsequent scanning for the initiator codon.
Summary: N/A
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Application: WB, IHC-P, FC
Dilution: WB--1:4000 WB--1:1000 IHC-P--1:100~500 FC--1:10~50
Synonyms: Eukaryotic initiation factor 4A-II, eIF-4A-II, eIF4A-II, ATP-dependent RNA helicase eIF4A-2, EIF4A2, DDX2B, EIF4F
