Reactivity: Human,Mouse,Rat

Application: WB

Application Range: WB: 1:500~1:1000

Background: Eukaryotic RNA polymerase II mediates the synthesis of mature and functional messenger RNA. This is a multistep process, called the transcription cycle, that includes five stages: preinitiation, promoter, clearance, elongation and termination. Elongation is thought to be a critical stage for the regulation of gene expression. ELOF1 (Transcription elongation factor 1 homolog) is a 83 amino acid nuclear protein that is implicated in the maintenance of proper chromatin structure in regions that are being actively transcribed. The gene encoding ELOF1 maps to human chromosome 19, which consists of over 63 million bases, houses approximately 1,400 genes and is recognized for having the greatest gene density of the human chromosomes. It is the genetic home for a number of immunoglobulin (Ig) superfamily members, including the killer cell and leukocyte Ig-like receptors, a number of ICAMs, the CEACAM and PSG family and Fc receptors (FcRs) .

Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Specificity: ELOF1 polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of ELOF1 protein.

Molecular Weight: ~ 9 kDa

Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.

Alternative Names: Transcription elongation factor 1 homolog; ELOF1

Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to residues in Human ELOF1.

Conjugate: Unconjugated

Modification: Unmodification

Purification & Purity: The Antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE) .
