Appearance: Lyophilized
Physical form description: Lyophilized in 0.4 mg/ml of NaHCO3, pH 8.
Reconstitution Instructions: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Bovine FGF-21 in sterile water or 0.4% NaHCO3, not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions, preferably in presence of carrier protein. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Amino acid sequence: The protein has 182 amino acids. The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be Ala-His-Pro-Ile-Pro.
Handling: Centrifuge the vial prior to opening.
Usage: For Research Use Only! Not to be used in humans
