Description

G3BP-1 (phospho-S232) polyclonal Antibody | BS4077 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution

Host: Rabbit

Reactivity: Human,Mouse,Rat

Application: IHC

Application Range: IHC: 1:50~1:200

Background: G3BP is one of the DNA-unwinding enzymes which prefers partially unwound 3'-tailed substrates and can also unwind partial RNA/DNA and RNA/RNA duplexes in an ATP-dependent fashion. This enzyme is a member of the heterogeneous nuclear RNA-binding proteins and is also an element of the Ras signal transduction pathway. It binds specifically to the Ras-GTPase-activating protein by associating with its SH3 domain. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene have been described, but the full-length nature of some of these variants has not been determined.

Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Specificity: p-G3BP-1 (S232) polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of G3BP-1 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser232.

Molecular Weight: ~ 52 kDa

Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.

Alternative Names: G3BP1; G3BP; hDH VIII; G3BP-1; Ras GTPase-activating protein-binding protein 1; GAP SH3 domain-binding protein 1

Immunogen: Synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human G3BP-1 around the phosphorylation site of Serine 232.

Conjugate: Unconjugated

Modification: Phosphorylation

Purification & Purity: The Antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE) .
