Function: Exhibits glutathione-dependent thiol transferase and dehydroascorbate reductase activities. Has S- (phenacyl) glutathione reductase activity. Has also glutathione S-transferase activity. Participates in the biotransformation of inorganic arsenic and reduces monomethylarsonic acid (MMA) and dimethylarsonic acid.
