Description

hnRNP D0 (Phospho-S83) polyclonal Antibody | BS64534 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution

Host: Rabbit

Reactivity: Human,Mouse,Rat

Application: WB IHC IF

Application Range: WB: 1:500~1:1000 IHC: 1:50~1:200

Background: hnRNP D/AUF1 binds with high affinity to RNA molecules that contain AU-rich elements (AREs) found within the 3' untranslated regions of many protooncogenes and cytokine mRNAs. It also binds to double and single stranded DNA sequences in a specific manner and functions a transcription factor. Each of the RNA-binding domains specifically can bind solely to a single stranded nonmonotonous 5'-UUAG-3' sequence and also weaker to the single-stranded 5'-TTAGGG-3' telomeric DNA repeat. It may be involved in translationally coupled mRNA turnover (referenced from swissprot) .

Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Specificity: hnRNP D0 (Phospho-S83)  polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of hnRNP D0 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser83.

Molecular Weight: ~ 38 kDa

Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.

Alternative Names: Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein D0; hnRNP D0; AU-rich element RNA-binding protein 1; AUF1; HNRPD; HNRNPD

Immunogen: Synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human hnRNP D0 around the phosphorylation site of Serine 83.

Conjugate: Unconjugated

Modification: Phosphorylation

Purification & Purity: The Antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE) .
