Description
HTATIP2 Antibody (N-term) [AMM05388G] | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H
Specificity: This HTATIP2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 45-74 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human HTATIP2.
Cellular Localisation: Cytoplasm. Nucleus envelope
Molecular Weight: 27049
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: HTATIP2 (HGNC:16637)
Gene ID: 10553
Function: Oxidoreductase required for tumor suppression. NAPDH-bound form inhibits nuclear import by competing with nuclear import substrates for binding to a subset of nuclear transport receptors. May act as a redox sensor linked to transcription through regulation of nuclear import. Isoform 1 is a metastasis suppressor with proapoptotic as well as antiangiogenic properties. Isoform 2 has an antiapoptotic effect.
Summary: Tissue Location: Ubiquitous. Highest level in liver. High levels in lung, skeletal muscle, pancreas and placenta. Moderate levels in heart and kidney. Low levels in brain. Not expressed or low levels in variant small cell lung carcinomas, 33% of hepatocellular carcinomas and neuroblastomas.
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Application: WB, IHC-P
Dilution: WB--1:1000 IHC-P--1:100~500
Synonyms: Oxidoreductase HTATIP2, 111-, 30 kDa HIV-1 TAT-interacting protein, HIV-1 TAT-interactive protein 2, HTATIP2 (HGNC:16637)
