Test Principale: This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate PAEP in samples. An antibody specific for PAEP has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyPAEP present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for PAEP is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of PAEP bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

Product Overview: Glycodelin is a member of the kernel lipocalin superfamily whose members share relatively low sequence similarity but have highly conserved exon/intron structure and three-dimensional protein folding. Most lipocalins are clustered on the long arm of chromosome 9. The encoded glycoprotein has been previously referred to as pregnancy-associated endometrial alpha-2-globulin, placental protein 14, and glycodelin, but has been officially named progestagen-associated endometrial protein. Three distinct forms, with identical protein backbones but different glycosylation profiles, are found in amniotic fluid, follicular fluid and seminal plasma of the reproductive system.

Stability: The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
