To detect mIL-9 by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.25 - 1.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with our Polyclonal Anti-Murine IL-9 (XP-5201) as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant mIL-9.

BACKGROUND: IL-9 is a cytokine preferentially produced by T helper type 2 lymphocytes and active on various cell types such as T and B lymphocytes, mast cells and haemopoietic progenitors; but no effect of this cytokine has been reported so far on mononuclear phagocytes.
