Description
iNOS (Phospho-Y151) polyclonal Antibody | BS64565 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Host: Rabbit
Reactivity: Human,Mouse,Rat
Application: WB IHC
Application Range: WB: 1:500~1:1000 IHC: 1:50~1:200
Background: Several distinct NOS isoforms have been described and been shown to represent the products of three distinct genes. These include two constitutive Ca2+/CaM-dependent forms of NOS, including NOS1 (also designated ncNOS) whose activity was first identified in neurons, and NOS3 (also designated ecNOS), first identified in endothelial cells. The inducible form of NOS, NOS2 (also designated iNOS), is Ca2+-independent and is expressed in a broad range of cell types.
Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: iNOS (Phospho-Y151) polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of iNOS protein only when phosphorylated at Tyr151.
Molecular Weight: ~ 130 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Alternative Names: Nitric oxide synthase, inducible; Hepatocyte NOS; HEP-NOS; Inducible NO synthase; Inducible NOS; Short name=iNOS; NOS type II; Peptidyl-cysteine S-nitrosylase; NOS 2; NOS2A; Inos
Immunogen: Synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human iNOS around the phosphorylation site of Tyrosine 151.
Conjugate: Unconjugated
Modification: Phosphorylation
Purification & Purity: The Antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE) .
