Description
IPO5 polyclonal Antibody | BS7341 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Host: Rabbit
Reactivity: Human,Mouse
Application: WB IF
Application Range: WB 1:500 - 1:2000 IF 1:50 - 1:200
Background: Nucleocytoplasmic transport, a signal- and energy-dependent process, takes place through nuclear pore complexes embedded in the nuclear envelope. The import of proteins containing a nuclear localization signal (NLS) requires the NLS import receptor, a heterodimer of importin alpha and beta subunits also known as karyopherins. Importin alpha binds the NLS-containing cargo in the cytoplasm and importin beta docks the complex at the cytoplasmic side of the nuclear pore complex.
Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: IPO5 polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of IPO5 protein.
Molecular Weight: ~123 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
