Description

MED14 Antibody (Center) [APR30916G] | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution

Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies

Host: Rabbit

Species Reactivity: H, M

Specificity: This MED14 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 586-615 amino acids from the Central region of human MED14.

Cellular Localisation: Nucleus.

Molecular Weight: 160607

Clone: Polyclonal

Gene Name: MED14

Gene ID: 9282

Function: Component of the Mediator complex, a coactivator involved in the regulated transcription of nearly all RNA polymerase II-dependent genes. Mediator functions as a bridge to convey information from gene- specific regulatory proteins to the basal RNA polymerase II transcription machinery. Mediator is recruited to promoters by direct interactions with regulatory proteins and serves as a scaffold for the assembly of a functional preinitiation complex with RNA polymerase II and the general transcription factors.

Summary: Tissue Location: Ubiquitous.

Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

Application: WB, FC

Dilution: WB--1:2000
