Description
MLKLAK Antibody (Center) [APR32545G] | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H
Specificity: This MLKLAK antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 271-300 amino acids from the Central region of human MLKLAK.
Cellular Localisation: Cytoplasm. Nucleus. Note=Translocates to the nucleus upon ultraviolet B irradiation.
Molecular Weight: 91155
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: MAP3K20 (HGNC:17797)
Gene ID: 51776
Function: Stress-activated component of a protein kinase signal transduction cascade. Regulates the JNK and p38 pathways. Part of a signaling cascade that begins with the activation of the adrenergic receptor ADRA1B and leads to the activation of MAPK14. Pro-apoptotic. Role in regulation of S and G2 cell cycle checkpoint by direct phosphorylation of CHEK2 (PubMed:10924358, PubMed:11836244, PubMed:15342622, PubMed:21224381) . Involved in limb development (PubMed:26755636) .
Summary: Tissue Location: Ubiquitously expressed. Isoform 2 is the predominant form in all tissues examined, except for liver, in which isoform 1 is more highly expressed.
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein G column, eluted with high and low pH buffers and neutralized immediately, followed by dialysis against PBS.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Application: WB, IHC-P
Dilution: WB--1:1000 IHC-P--1:100~500
