Description

NCoA-3 (S587) polyclonal Antibody | BS3516 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution

Host: Rabbit

Reactivity: Human,Mouse,Rat

Application: WB IHC

Application Range: WB: 1:500~1:1000 IHC: 1:50~1:200

Background: Several related transcriptional coactivators and corepressors have been described that work in concert with the steroid receptor family to either induce or repress transcription from hormone-responsive elements. This family includes GRIP1 (for GR interacting protein 1), also designated NCoA-2 or TIF-2; SRC-1 (for steroid receptor coactivator-1), also designated NCoA-1; and NCoA-3, also designated RAC3, ACTR, AIB-1 (for amplified in breast cancer) and p/CIP (for p300/CBP/co-integrator protein), which displays elevated expression in estrogen receptor positive ovarian and breast cancers and is required for the transcriptional activation of p300/CBP-dependent transcription factors.

Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Specificity: NCoA-3 (S587) polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of NCoA-3 protein.

Molecular Weight: ~ 155 kDa

Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.

Alternative Names: Nuclear receptor coactivator 3; NCoA-3; EC=2.3.1.48; ACTR; Amplified in breast cancer 1 protein; AIB-1; CBP-interacting protein; pCIP; Class E basic helix-loop-helix protein 42; bHLHe42; Receptor-associated coactivator 3; RAC-3; Steroid receptor coactivator protein 3; SRC-3; Thyroid hormone receptor activator molecule 1; TRAM-1; AIB1; BHLHE42; RAC3; TRAM1; NCOA3

Immunogen: Synthetic peptide, corresponding to amino acids 558-600 of Human NCoA-3.

Conjugate: Unconjugated

Modification: Unmodification

Purification & Purity: The Antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE) .
