BACKGROUND: Omburtamab is monoclonal antibody targeting B7-H3 antigen expressed in a variety of human solid tumors. Omburtamab (alias: 8H9, formerly known as Burtomab) is a monoclonal antibody linked to radioisotope and capable of binding to the B7-H3 antigen on the surface of neuroblastoma cells. Direct injection into cerebrospinal fluid, bypassing the blood-brain barrier, accurately targeting neuroblastoma in the central nervous system, to avoid damage to other tissues (such as learning disabilities and developmental delays often caused by conventional radiotherapy outside the brain) .
