Description

PKM2 polyclonal Antibody | BS6443 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution

Host: Rabbit

Reactivity: Human,Mouse,Rat

Application: WB IHC IF IP RIP

Application Range: WB: 1:500~1:2000 IHC/IF: 1:50~1:200 IP/RIP: 1:50~1:200

Background: The PKM2 (pyruvate kinase, muscle) gene encodes the M1- and M2-type isoenzymes through alternative splicing events. Both M1- and M2-type isoforms exists as tetramers and are stimulated by fructose 1,6-bisphosphate. In addition, both isoforms exhibit thyroid hormone binding activity and may be referred to as CTHBP (cytosolic thyroid hormone-binding protein) or THBP1.

Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Specificity: PKM2 polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of PKM2 protein.

Molecular Weight: ~ 58 kDa

Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.

Alternative Names: CTHBP; Cytosolic thyroid hormone binding protein; Cytosolic thyroid hormone-binding protein; KPYM; MGC3932; OIP 3; OIP-3; Oip3; OIP3; OPA interacting protein 3; Opa-interacting protein 3; p58; PK Muscle type; PK; muscle type; PK2; Pk3; PKM; PKM2; PYKM; Pyruvate kinase 2/3; Pyruvate kinase isozymes M1/M2; Pyruvate kinase muscle; Pyruvate kinase muscle isozyme; TCB; THBP1; Thyroid hormone binding protein 1; Thyroid hormone binding protein cytosolic; Thyroid hormone
