Description
PON1 polyclonal Antibody | BS8844 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Host: Rabbit
Reactivity: Human,Mouse,Rat
Application: WB
Application Range: WB 1:500 - 1:2000
Background: The enzyme encoded by this gene is an arylesterase that mainly hydrolyzes paroxon to produce p-nitrophenol. Paroxon is an organophosphorus anticholinesterase compound that is produced in vivo by oxidation of the insecticide parathion. Polymorphisms in this gene are a risk factor in coronary artery disease. The gene is found in a cluster of three related paraoxonase genes at 7q21.3.
Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: PON1 polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of PON1 protein.
Molecular Weight: ~ 52kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Alternative Names: Serum paraoxonase/arylesterase 1; PON 1; Aromatic esterase 1; A-esterase 1; K-45; Serum aryldialkylphosphatase 1; PON1; PON
Immunogen: Recombinant full length Human PON1.
