Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H
Specificity: This RALY antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 75-103 amino acids from the Central region of human RALY.
Cellular Localisation: Nucleus {ECO:0000250|UniProtKB:Q64012}.
Molecular Weight: 32463
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: RALY
Gene ID: 22913
Function: RNA-binding protein that acts as a transcriptional cofactor for cholesterol biosynthetic genes in the liver. Binds the lipid- responsive non-coding RNA LeXis and is required for LeXis-mediated effect on cholesterogenesis (By similarity) . May be a heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP) (PubMed:9376072) .
Summary: Tissue Location: Expressed in heart, brain, lung, liver, skeletal muscle, kidney and pancreas. Weakly expressed in placenta
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Application: WB
Dilution: WB--1:1000
Synonyms: RNA-binding protein Raly, Autoantigen p542, Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein C-like 2, hnRNP core protein C-like 2, hnRNP associated with lethal yellow protein homolog, RALY, HNRPCL2, P542
