Description
Remodelin is a potent and selective inhibitor of the acetyl-transferase protein NAT10 that mediates nuclear shape rescue in laminopathic (LMNA-depleted) cells via microtubule reorganization. Remodelin markedly reduces the prevalence of misshapen nuclei in HGPS cells as well as in primary MRC5 fibroblasts aged in culture. In contrast, Remodelin has no effect on nonlaminopathic Werner syndrome cells.
