SEMG1 polyclonal Antibody | BS7601 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Host: Rabbit
Reactivity: Human,Mouse
Application: WB IHC
Application Range: WB: 1:500~1:2000 IHC: 1:50~1:200
Background: The protein encoded by this gene is the predominant protein in semen. The encoded secreted protein is involved in the formation of a gel matrix that encases ejaculated spermatozoa. The prostate-specific antigen (PSA) protease processes this protein into smaller peptides, with each possibly having a separate function. The proteolysis process breaks down the gel matrix and allows the spermatozoa to move more freely.
Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: SEMG1 pAb detects endogenous levels of SEMG1 protein.
Molecular Weight: ~52 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
