Description

STAM2 (phospho-Y192) polyclonal Antibody | BS4876 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution

Host: Rabbit

Reactivity: Human,Mouse,Rat

Application: WB

Application Range: WB: 1:500~1:1000

Background: STAM contains an SH3 (Src homology 3) motif as well as an immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation (ITAM) motif, both of which appear to be required for c-Myc induction in response to IL-2 and GM-CSF. STAM associates with JAK3 and JAK2 via its ITAM region, and it is tyrosine phosphorylated by JAK3 and JAK2 after stimulation with IL-2 and GM-CSF, respectively. STAM2, also known as Hbp, is a protein that is highly related to STAM. Similar to STAM, STAM2 functions downstream of JAK kinases and can be phosphorylated in response to cytokines. Due to alternative splicing events, two isoforms of STAM2 exist, namely STAM2A and STAM2B.

Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Specificity: p-STAM2 (Y192) polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of STAM2 protein only when phosphorylated at Tyr192.

Molecular Weight: ~ 58 kDa

Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.

Alternative Names: Signal transducing adapter molecule 2; STAM-2; Hrs-binding protein; STAM2; HBP

Immunogen: Synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human STAM2 around the phosphorylation site of Tyrosine 192.

Conjugate: Unconjugated

Modification: Phosphorylation

Purification & Purity: The Antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE) .

Pathway: Immune Cell Signaling,Jak Stat :IL-6 Receptor Signaling,Signaling Pathways Activating p38 MAP Kinase
