Bological Activity: Biological activity was determined by TGF-β3’s ability to inhibit the mouse IL-4-dependent proliferation of mouse HT-2 cells. The expected ED50 is ≤ 0.05 ng/mL, corresponding to a specific activity of ≥2 x 107 units/mg. Endotoxin level is less than 0.1 ng per μg of TGF-β3 (1EU/μg).
Purity: Greater than 98% by SDS-PAGE gel and HPLC analyses.
