Description
VEGF Antibody [4B2-8] | XP-5740-M | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Host: Mouse
Reactivity: Human
Homology: N/A
Immunogen: The monoclonal antibody was produced in BALB/c X ICR F1 mice using recombinant human VEGF as the immunizing antigen.
Research Area: Signal Transduction, Growth Factors, Functional Assays
Tested Application: E, WB, Neut
Application: Neutralization:
To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of Human VEGF (10.0 ng/mL) , a concentration of <0.2 μg/mL of this antibody is required.
ELISA:
In a sandwich ELISA (assuming 100uL/well) , a concentration of 2.0-4.0 μg/mL of this antibody will detect at least 100 pg/mL of recombinant human VEGF165 when used with our biotinylated antigen affinity purified anti-human VEGF165 (XP-5291Bt) as the detection antibody at a concentration of approximately 0.25-1.0 μg/mL.
Western Blot:
To detect hVEGF165 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.25-0.50 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hVEGF165 is 0.25-0.50 ng/lane, under non-reducing conditions.
