Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies

Host: Rabbit

Species Reactivity: H

Specificity: This AADAC antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 273-300 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human AADAC.

Cellular Localisation: Endoplasmic reticulum membrane; Single-pass type II membrane protein. Microsome membrane; Single-pass type II membrane protein

Molecular Weight: 45734

Clone: Polyclonal

Gene Name: AADAC

Gene ID: 13

Function: Displays cellular triglyceride lipase activity in liver, increases the levels of intracellular fatty acids derived from the hydrolysis of newly formed triglyceride stores and plays a role in very low-density lipoprotein assembly. Displays serine esterase activity in liver. Deacetylates a variety of arylacetamide substrates, including xenobiotic compounds and procarcinogens, converting them to the primary arylamide compounds and increasing their toxicity.

Summary: Tissue Location: Detected in liver (at protein level) . Mainly expressed in liver, small intestine, colon, adrenal gland and bladder

Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is prepared by Saturated Ammonium Sulfate (SAS) precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS.

Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

Application: WB, IHC-P, FC

Dilution: WB--1:1000 IHC-P--1:100~500 FC--1:10~50

Synonyms: Arylacetamide deacetylase, AADAC, DAC
