Description
AGO1 polyclonal Antibody | BS71428 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Host: Rabbit
Reactivity: Human,Mouse
Application: WB
Application Range: WB 1:500 - 1:1000
Background: This gene encodes a member of the Argonaute family of proteins which play a role in RNA interference. The encoded protein is highly basic, and contains a PAZ domain and a PIWI domain. It may interact with dicer1 and play a role in short-interfering-RNA-mediated gene silencing. This gene is located on chromosome 1 in a cluster of closely related family members including argonaute 3, and argonaute 4.
Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: AGO1 polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of AGO1 protein.
Molecular Weight: ~ 110 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Alternative Names: Q99; EIF2C; EIF2C1; GERP95;
Immunogen: Recombinant protein of human AGO1.
