AKR1CL2 Polyclonal Antibody | BS65362 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution

Host: Rabbit

Reactivity: Human

Application: WB,IHC-p,IF (paraffin section),ELISA

Application Range: Western Blot: 1/500 - 1/2000. Immunohistochemistry: 1/100 - 1/300. ELISA: 1/10000. Not yet tested in other applications.

Background: aldo-keto reductase family 1 member E2 (AKR1E2) Homo sapiens The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the aldo-keto reductase superfamily. Members in this family are characterized by their structure (evolutionarily highly conserved TIM barrel) and function (NAD (P) H-dependent oxido-reduction of carbonyl groups) . Transcripts of this gene have been reported in specimens of human testis. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2012],

Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Specificity: AKR1CL2 Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of AKR1CL2 protein.

Molecular Weight: ~37 kDa

Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.

Alternative Names: AKR1E2; AKR1CL2; AKRDC1; 1; 5-anhydro-D-fructose reductase; AF reductase; Aldo-keto reductase family 1 member C-like protein 2; Aldo-keto reductase family 1 member E2; LoopADR; Testis-specific protein; hTSP

Immunogen: The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human AKR1CL2. AA range:141-190
