Description
AMI-5 is a non-specific small molecule inhibitor of protein arginine methyltransferases (PRMTs) (IC₅₀ = 0.78 and 1.41 µM against Hmt1p and PRMT1, respectively) and histone lysine methyltransferases (HKMTs) (DOT1 and SET7, but not Suv39H1 and Suv39H2).
