Background: Ascorbate oxidase (AO) is an apoplastic enzyme involved in metabolism of plant ascorbate (AA) . Ascorbate (AA) plays a key role in defense against oxidative stress and is particularly abundant in photosynthetic tissues. Over 90% of the ascorbate is localized in the cytoplasm, but a substantial proportion is exported to the apoplast.

Reconstitution: For reconstitution add 1 ml of sterile water, Allow reconstituted product to stand for at least 30 minutes at room temperature prior to dilution, If necessary, centrifuge to remove any particulates, Prepare fresh working dilution daily

Storage: Store lyophilized/reconstituted at -20°C; once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please remember to spin the tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from material adhering to the cap or sides of the tube. Working dilutions should be stored at 4°C, not refrozen and prefarably used the same day. If slight precipitation occurs upon storage, this should be removed by centrifugation, It will not affect the performance of the product.
