Description
ASP7663 is a selective transient receptor potential ankyrin 1 (TRPA1) activator. It activates human, rat and mouse TRPA1 receptors with EC₅₀ values of 510 nM, 540 nM and 500 nM, respectively. It releases 5-HT from QGP-1 cells. It enhances colonic motility and exerts anti-constipation, analgesic effects against abdominal pain in vivo.
