Background: ATG1a (Serine/threonine-protein kinase ATG1a) is a serine/threonine protein kinase involved in autophagy in a nutritional condition-dependent manner. The ATG1-ATG13 protein kinase complex regulates downstream events required for autophagosome enclosure and/or vacuolar delivery. Becomes a target of autophagy under nutrient starvation and connects autophagy to plant nutritional status. Alternative names: Autophagy-related protein 1a, AtAPG1a.

Reconstitution: For reconstitution add 50 µl, of sterile water

Storage: Store lyophilized/reconstituted at -20°C (short tem, months) or at -80°C (long term, years) ; once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please remember to spin the tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from material adhering to the cap or sides of the tube.
