Description
Isolated from plant Psoralea corylifolia. Acts as an inhibitor of protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B (PTB1B (IC₅₀ = 20.8±1.9 µM). Antioxidant and an inhibitor of mitochondrial lipid peroxidation. Also inhibits inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS; NOS II) expression. DNA polymerase inhibitor. Shows antimicrobial and cytotoxic activity.
