Description
BLK (phospho-Y389) polyclonal Antibody | BS64159 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Host: Rabbit
Reactivity: Human,Mouse,Rat
Application: WB
Application Range: WB: 1:500~1:1000
Background: Blk is a Src family protein tyrosine kinase expressed in all stages of B cell development. Activation of B cells by various ligands is accompanied by activation of Blk. It has been suggested that Blk is involved in the control of B cell differentiation and proliferation. Blk transcripts have also been detected in human thymocytes, but not in mature T cells, implicating that Blk may play an important role in thymopoiesis. Blk function may be redundant, however, as mice that do not express Blk are not impaired with respect to B cell development and immune response.
Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: BLK (phospho-Y389) polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of BLK protein only when phosphorylated at Tyr389 .
Molecular Weight: ~ 57 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Alternative Names: Tyrosine-protein kinase Blk; B lymphocyte kinase; p55-Blk; BLK
Immunogen: Synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human BLK around the phosphorylation site of Tyrosine389.
Conjugate: Unconjugated
Modification: Phosphorylation
Purification & Purity: The Antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE) .
Pathway: Hypoxia Signaling,Wntβ catenin signaling,Contribution of ECM and Cytoskeletal Factors to EMT,Contribution of Soluble Factors to EMT,hippo Signaling,Adherens Junction signaling,
