Description

BMS-3 is a potent and specific inhibitor of activated LIM domain kinases LIMK1 and LIMK2 (IC₅₀s = 5 and 6 nM, respectively). LIMK1 is responsible for the inactivation of cofilin (ADF family protein), leading to actin reorganization. It is upregulated in several invasive cancers.
